The
links below represent those sites that I frequently visit for upgrade information
and to download driver's etc. Computers have featured heavily in my life since the mid-eighties; it all started with a Sinclair ZX81 given to me by a relative. Since those heady days I have progressed from the "81" to a Sinclair Spectrum, BBC Model "B" to an Amstrad PCW9512 which was the first machine I had with any real power (512 kb RAM !!!), still it had enough for me to attempt to design a relational database. College caused me to invest in my first PC, a 386 DX which allowed me to work at home instead of on the machines on campus (you never seemed to have access to them anyway in-spite of being an I.T. student). The 386 was extensively upgraded having a sound card, new graphics card, maths co-processor, another hard disk, more RAM a CD ROM drive and latterly a speech synthesiser. Unfortunately it has now been consigned to the great computer network in the sky... |
