This was possibly the
greatest and best Folk Club of all time. Unfortunately now defunct, the club
used to operate each week on a Sunday night and was usually hosted by the wonderful
Dixie Fletcher or Don Minifie (last seen on "Film Buff of the Year"
in I don't know what year).
Amonst the residents were Fiddlers Dram (later to go on to be superstars) featuring Cathy LeSurf (Albion Band), Chris Taylor (Oyster Band & Gas Mark 5), Ian Telfer (Oyster Band) and Alan Prosser (Oyster Band), Ian Keary (Oyster Band) and Alison Salter (Bread & Roses), Chris Wood (Oyster Band and with Andy Cutting).
