Mary Henderson - Chairman & Secretary


For the last few years Mary has been the club Bookings Officer as well as greeter, newsletter editor, poster maker and lots more. Last year she scaled back her roles because she has not been in the best of health, but continues to keep the committee operating.

Geoff Brown – Treasurer.


Geoff has held the same office longer than any other present member of the committee. As well as looking after the funds, Geoff is a brilliant guitarist with a great voice who quite often does floor spots on guest nights.

Andy Pigg – Bookings Officer.


Andy books the guests for the club and tries to keep the web-site up to date.

Pat has been a committee member for several years and is a regular compere as well as an excellent singer..

Terry Dunning – Membership Secretary.


Terry is a long standing committee member and the keeper of the lights and other bric a brac needed for club nights.
He is also well qulified for the job of membership secretary being as you can see by the picture and ex spy...

Lawrence Dean


Lawrence is another long serving committee member, a prolific songwriter and regular compere.

Rod Morley


Committee Member and the distributor of large numbers of posters around Faversham to advertise club guests.

Alan Clayton

A new member of the commitee, Alan is a regualar at singers nights playing guitar and singing.

Richard Fraser

Another new Member of the Commitee and again Richard is a reguilar singer and Guitarist at the club on Singers Nights (Here he is with his beloved Gibson J50)

Geoff & Margret Rayner - Secretary (with Mary)

Geoff and Margret have not only recently moved to Faversham and have become regulars at the Folk Club since they arrived. They have now been co-opted onto the Commitee where Geoff plays a leading role with our new lighting system and Margret assists Mary with her Secretarial tasks.

A fine singer on our singers nights and keeper of the gate on the busyest nights

Welcome to our latest recruit, newly converted to the wonders of Folk Music, A Spiers & Boden fan and keeper of the most dangerous parrot in Faversham

Debbie Lawther

After standing on the FFC Committee for many years Debbie has decided to take a break, she has now departed back to the U.S.A. We shall miss her and we all hope that she stays in touch and comes to visit us frequently.

Richard Patrick.

Richard was a long time member of our commitee and a tireless worker for the club, he passed away on the 23rd of February 2006 - He will be sorely missed by all of us

Barbara Kelly - Former Chairman


Barbara is the longest serving member of recent committees, but is now taking a break from office.

Marion Button


Marion was the Winner of the Singing Competition at the 2002 National Folk Festival and is a frequent and cherished floor singer on guest nights and singer’s nights.
